Sam’s Devotions is a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit organization founded on June 23, 2016. Our mission is to perform deliberate and random acts of kindness to enlighten the everyday lives of men, women, children and animals. We strive to spread as many smiles as possible along the way, picking up those who have been knocked down for whatever reason. Started as a simple desire to honor Sam, a loved one taken too soon, Sam’s Devotions has brought together a group of members unified in a shared labor of love. This is a little bit of what we do. Shared Acts of Kindness:Spontaneous gestures of goodwill towards men, women, children and animals. We share and inspire others to be kind!
Shared Smiles: We have been blessed with recipients that send us photos of the smile Sam’s Devotions has brought to them. We showcase all of our Shared Smiles!
Sam’s Kids:Once a month we pick a very special child who is battling a life-threatening disease and try to give them a day to just be a kid!
Heaven Sent: We comfort children who are grieving the loss of a loved one with a heartening gift sent from Heaven.
Sam’s Siblings:Once a month we pick a special child who’s sibling is battling a life-threatening disease and try to give them a day!
