About: Gavin was diagnosed in May of 2018 with stage IV High Risk Neuroblastoma. Gavin’s tiny (now 19 months old) body has been through more trauma than is even imaginable. He has fought through infections, fevers, undergone intensive chemo, immunotherapy, Broviac line placement surgery, tumor removal, tandem stem cell transplants, radiation therapy… He has been living at Akron Children’s Hospital with his mother, nearly isolated from the rest of the family. Through all of this, Gavin has fought to be himself, a very happy baby that absolutely loves to be goofy and make people laugh. This showing of strength is what inspires his parents to keep pushing through every day. Please keep Gavin and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
