Jasmine

Back to Sam's Kids

About: Jasmine was born in June of 2012, and was determined by all accounts to be a happy and healthy baby. At only one year of age, Jasmine was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called a Urea Cycle Disorder. Jasmine has been hospitalized many times and eventually underwent a liver transplant. Her struggles don’t end there, she has been battling Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV), induced hepatitis and necrotic Post-Transplant Lymphoproliferative Disease (PTLD), to name a few. Through it all, Jasmine remains steadfast, a fierce fighter. She is a beautiful, vivacious, joyful little girl.

We are blessed beyond measure.
Sometimes you think the days are hard and the work is a lot but it’s so worth it!

Special Treat: Jasmine is our Sam’s Kid selected for the month of November 2016. As her special treat, Jasmine requested a night out with dinner and a movie for her family of 4! Jasmine’s favorite place to eat is PF Changs cause she loves their “brown noodles.” Afterwards, they are off to the movies.  Mom said, “The girls have only been to two movies and they were before transplant so this will definitely be a treat for them!”++++
